Jabber IM Back
Okay, the heavy lifting for getting IM back and in good shape is mostly done. Jabber and gtalk IM users can start twittering again. Now we just need to get AIM users up to speed! Blaine is coding things up right now and he types really fast.

The bot appears have 3 instances running and therefore responding 3 seperate times to commands.
We're (imified) dealing with the same issues on Jabber. I'd Love to chat about possible solutions to scaling with large buddy lists. We're working on it too. dave@imified.com

I found something inconsistent. It might be a feature :)
On IE6 the alt= value of the avatar icon, it seems, is it's filename, instead of the username (like in FF).
.. there is message (tweet) duplication occurring from google talk clients (2 x messages per 'tweet'), but it's quite speedy in picking up the tweets via IM, so good work so far.

Well... I've trying to set this up, but can't succesfully do it. Adium just gives me back error 404 messages. You have a screenshot of the problem here.

Doesn't work for me either. I am using GMail but whatever I send to the contact (my authentication code or HELP) I never get any respond. Not even after an hour or so.
Same here: the Twitter gmail bot does not respond to anything. "HELP", my activation code, nothing.

Same here: Twitter Bot doesn't react to anything (also new authorizations aren't possible - sending the authorization code to the bot doesn't change anything).
It worked partially for a short time though, I received one Twitter update via Jabber.
Yeah, I'm not seeing any response from using either Google Talk or gmail integrated chat.
I hate to pile on, but I've had trouble switching it to my new IM on gTalk and I haven't had any response via IM for over 15 hours or so now.
any closer to the gtalk bot being back up? I still have to confirm my IM for twitter

Then, I could tweet all I want, using AIM on my phone. :)
(I've not seen any GTalk/Jabber apps that run on MIDP1 phones yet. Correct me (PLEASE!) if I'm wrong, however.)
Thanks! I have AIM set up on my blackberry and find that the best way to send out tweets. Can't wait to have it back up!

not working twitter gtalk !! ive been trying to register it, and nothing till now!
GTalk does not work for me. For a while i got messages but couldn't send, not its totally dead (twitter@twitter.com is offline and can't receive messages right now.).
