We Won!
We totally won the SXSW Web Awards last Sunday! That's me, Jack, Ev, and Jason on stage with Ze Frank. Jack gave our acceptance speech which went exactly like this, "We'd like to thank you in 140 characters or less. And we just did!" Then we we walked offstage and partied in Austin. Now we're back in the office making sure we're worthy of the honor. Thanks SXSW! We had a blast.

Twitter should do a media tour of New York City and meet with the folks from the NYT, WSJ, BusWeek, Fortune, Forbes, etc who cover the Net.

Are you fucking kidding?! You won the web awards? Please tell me there's some secret URL other than twitter. com. My friends and I spent 2 days trying to figure out how to A: Read Twitter's SXSW feed via IM and B: Post anything to twitter's SXSW feed. The only thing we came up with is some stupid floaty ticker crap you guys were blasting to a bunch of TV screens.
The twitter.com/sxsw page has a "What are you doing at SXSW?" logo and nothing else - for 5 days! Repeated IM's to TwitterIM led to nothing: Join fails, "help" (and it's millions of capitalizaton permeations) fails, follow, etc...
Was it perhaps twitter.ru that won? Twitter.tv? I'm sorry, but if you want to succeed in the WWW world, you better work well enough that me and my short-bus cronies can figure you out in 2 days time.
Congrats, now some company needs to acquire you so you guys can get some better servers who can handle a hundred million users.

Congratulations, I imagine you guys might have won the WTF is this all about category. Word in Brazil is Twitter is crap, at least from those who managed to use it.
How about you grow a proper "what is twitter" page? I can get more information and satisfaction from toilet paper.

It is interesting to see the many uses for twitter. I have found a site www.celebritytwitter.com that follows the life of hollywood celebrities online. Is this a sign that twitter is going mainstream? I have also noticed that you can't hardly register with anything with twitter in the name. I give it 2 months before it gets bought by yahoo or google.
