There's Twitter in My Facebook!
Twitter was invited to be one of the early participants and the new Facebook application platform. Basically, Facebook now allows developers to build applications folks can install and use inside Facebook. It's pretty awesome. So, if you're on Facebook, be sure to install our Twitter application!

It's unfortunate that the Twitter app doesn't update one's FB status. Is this in the pipe?

but it allows for more than 140characters .. sometimes sends duplicates.
Thank YOU! That's awesome. Currently you either have to post through the facebook twitter interface or click on the twitter app to get it to update on the profile page. Also having issues with the timestamp. Just thought you should know :)
I'm not complaining, I promise. Just thought a few enhancements would really put this over the top.
hi, in IE the Facebook/Twitter page doesn't display properly, it's all pushed to the bottom of the page.
It doesn't seem to update very fast and half the time the facebook callback on the apps/twitter/ page fails to connect.
Also, updates placed away from facebook dont show up in the log.
Saw Alex Payne leave a comment on Facebook about Twitter and thought I'd share it here:
"For the next couple of days we're not going to be updating your Facebook Twitter when you post from elsewhere (web, SMS) until we're sure that doing that won't slow us down. It's coming soon, though!"
I also hope that Twitter will update your Facebook status regardless of where you're twitter from... and that Twitter changes, no matter where they made from, will be shown in the mini feed. Thank you!!

I'll third the request to have Twitter updates set the FB status at the same time.
I will fourth the request to set your FB status via Twitter.
I primarily use Twitter via iChat, and don't have Facebook open very often, so my status there gets stale quickly.
I'll fifth the request that Twitter also update one's Facebook status.

aside from having it update your FB status, how about getting it to just appear in your profile? no one i've talked to has been able to have it show up in the profile, myself included. kind of disappointing there.

I've got a working Facebook updating script running on my website - I've also got an XML parser to read my Twitter feed so it can then update the Facebook status with whatever Twitter is set to. The only problem is I have to click manually to run this script, meaning I still have to be on a browser and can't just update Twitter via IM and have it change Facebook. If Twitter would allow Facebook integration they could put this script on their site - we'd have to give them our FB usernames and passwords though.

is there an option to removed the 'twittering:' bit in the facebook status? my non-twitering friends are confused by it.
Now that facebook's "is: " has gone can we loose the "is twittering too please?"
Now that we can sync the two, it'd be nice to have some simple filters; my replies on twitter don't make much sense as facebook status messages -- could I filter those out?
Someone from Twitter "Officially" said on the facebook app welcome page that when facebook dropped the "is", they would drop "is twittering:". Please make this a priority to make it happen, now that it has happened (er, whatever, you know what I mean)

The Twitter Facebook App is no working. Everyone who tries to install is getting compile errors. Is this going to be fixed soon?

+1 to problems with facebook app. Its just spewing out a load of code or something.

This app has been broken for weeks on Facebook. Please fix it.
Whats going on with the twitter fb app? When I try to get to the preferences panel, I get a rFacebook error, and a stack trace...
same problem as others, get some ruby error when adding the app. http://is.gd/wwI
