Friday Fun: Explore Twitter
We've been working with the fine folks over at Stamen Design to help us look at our data from a different perspective. They're masters of visualizing information in interesting ways--they worked on Digg Labs, for example. While we were working, a fun idea emerged and we thought it would be something worth sharing: Check out Twitter Blocks!Blocks is an abstract, interactive, three-dimensional, Flash application for exploring your neighborhood or "block." It's also one of several interesting, alternative, or experimental ways to interact with Twitter we will continue to showcase at Explore Twitter—a new part of Twitter initially sponsored by Motorola.

Twitter is the Berries!
Coolest platform ever!
Yes, a hiccup here or there while scaling up. Big deal!
It was already cool. Now it is right on time!
You kids rock
Twitter Blocks is awesome! The guys at Stamen Design do great work. I hope you guys do more work with them.
Would it be possible to fix the issue where friends' tweets aren't regularly appearing on home/profile pages? Surely getting the basic functionality working is a priority? I love Twitter but if it doesn't work properly then what's the point? There's certainly no point to visualizing information that doesn't exist to me, but is there if I check friends' profile pages.
Yes, what nick said. Add new features after you get the ones that are already here working right.

Shiny!
There's a small typo on the Explore page:
"Download or install on*e* of these popular 3rd party Twitter clients."
