Searching Twitter
We've just added Profile Search to Twitter! Now you can search across profile information like name, location, bio, and url. That means you can find more people to follow. The search box is over on the right when you're signed in. Go ahead and find other Twitter-ers in San Francisco, New York, or Tokyo or find out your friends are already Twittering and you didn't even know it!

Glad to finally see this feature. I wrote a blog post way back in April on this very idea.

Awesome...was trying to find a couple of friends today! Nice addition
I am looking forward to the day when we can tag ourself with interests, hobbies, or etc to make searching other fellow twitterers who share the "common goal" easier. But this new feature is definitely on the right track. Keep up the good work!
Excellent addition. Thank You!
Finally! Long overdue...
Great! I was looking fpr such a tool a really long time. Thanks!
The last missing "KillApp-feature" !
Many thanks for that ;-)
I think Twitter is being replicated in Malaysia by this service called PacMee - www.pacmee.com
So much for originality...sigh..
Great. Just one question:
What about the API?
hey, its a cool feature. Though it needs some improvements. I searched for "brad suck" and it didnt give me any result though "bradsuck" exist.
keep going

Love this new capability! Thanks for it, in addition to the new, accessible audio CAPTCHA for the signup process!
Very nice. I just finished going through EVERYONE in Chicago. And if I'm not mistaken, there were improvements made to it while I was paging through the list. I do wish we could sort the results by number of tweets, most recent tweet, username, etc. But for now, I'm very happy with this.
