We added a little swoosh icon after updates in your timeline. Clicking it inserts @username into the update field so you can react more easily to a person you're following.
I noticed that the swoosh always seems to link back to the persons most recent tweet. If it's having to look that up wouldn't it make sense to have it link to the actual status you are replying to?
Thank you for adding this single, simple thing to the interface. It’s not that big, but it’s extremely handy. Now I can stop wondering why you didn’t add it ages ago.
Grant - To be fair I won't stop wondering why they didn't add it a while ago but -- It is a great addition. Keep up the good work Twitter. It's the little things that help the most.
I have been Browsing Twitter for about an hour and a half. Not yet understanding all the in's and out's, but I am getting a sense of ease of use and I like the feeling. I will return tomorrow to continue my exploring. Don't want to use Blogger though, no independence there.

I don't see the Swoosh in Opera?
I strongly agree with Colin Walker, it would be great to have the swoosh link to the actual status you are replying to.
I can't see the swoosh in Flock, either. Or Firefox. Hmm. Or IE.
Even logged in. What the heck?
