Starbucks Stores Scheduled Down Time
Looks like Starbucks is currently closed due to a scheduled down time. Not the web site, the physical stores—all of them!
All American Starbucks shops will shut down this evening between 5:30 and 9 p.m. local time to conduct what the company is calling "a historic in-store education and training event."Interesting to see actual bricks-and-morter operations like Starbucks scheduling down time (aside from the normal hours they are closed). I wonder what sort of signs they put up for folks showing up for coffee?

I loved how many places were giving free coffee or steeply discounted coffee.
Lets hope there were no riots....coffee can be personal!
They had signs up. But it still sucked- I have a night class at 6:30 and even the campus Starbucks was closed. Night classes without coffee are torture
oh, i think this blog explain about T-Mobile.
Yay - does this mean they will actually have *good* coffee at some point?
Service is already excellent, I don't see how they could think they need to work on that...
gasp! could this onion story be coming true??
starbucks to begin sinister 'phase two' of operation
