Time Travel (and A Few Updates)
Twitter is all about what's happening right now but sometimes people like to see what has already happened to add a little context. If you're one of those folks, we want to point out a few recent improvements that may have gone unnoticed. The timeline on home pages now goes back 40 pages instead of only 10, the archive timeline now goes back 3,200 tweets, and the "older" button—well, it works. It is now possible to travel back in time further than ever before.

Fox news reports that NBC is far left but Fox news constantly refers to the event reported in the mainstream media.
Here is my question:
If there is a mainstream media what is Fox news? It can’t be mainstream because Fox refers to other news as mainstream. If it is not mainstream it must be either to the left or right of mainstream. So where is it? Far left or far right?
Since Fox regularly mocks the far left, can I assume far right?
Why not just come out and say so!!!

I am an AF Veteran widow and I feel frustrated about the fact that Americans are treating this Presidential Election as a popularity contest rather than the issues. How could McCain, a 72 year old man, who has had 3 bouts with malignant cancer, responsibly appoint an inexperienced, yet vocal woman as the possible future president of the United States? Just to put it into prospective, my husband, a USAF Veteran, died of bladder cancer at age 68! This is clearly a political move from McCain and an immature and irresponsible one. So much for his rhetoric’s of "Country First" and "I would rather lose a campaign than lose a war." Heck no! He doesn't give a hoot about us. He just wants to win. That's his ultimate ambition, as he wrote in his memoirs. Patriotism or idealism plays no part in his scheme. Read (google) his book! And apart from those 5 POW years, does he really deserve it? Come on! He was a rogue. He graduated from the Naval Academy 5th from the last. If it hadn't been for his Father, who as an Admiral, he'd be running an employment agency right now. I don't see how he excelled in anything except for marrying a very wealthy woman who is now outsourcing what used to be the very symbol of American beer. To marry the younger, more beautiful and wealthy heiress, he dumped his faithful wife of many years, and the Mother of his children. I used to write to the guys in Nam, back in the early seventies, before I got married. I had 40 pen-pals I supported with my letters of encouragement and hope. Some of them got killed, some liked to kill, some got caught and I don't know what happened to them. McCain is just one of them, as far as I am concerned. And how about all the young people he sent to their death and/or torture in Iraq by co-signing with Bush on the war? Or the ones that came back with no arms, no legs, blind and forever disfigured by third-degree burns? What would they say to him today, if they could? What would their families say to him? The man has no integrity. He is a wolf in sheep's clothing and the same goes for his VP Sarah Palin, who by the way would do better to save her cheerleading tactics for her Mom’s Alaskan Hockey games. All I can say to you people out there who are considering voting for McCain is BEWARE!
On the other hand, this is what Obama will do for us:
OBAMA = REDUCE TAX FOR 95% OF THE PEOPLE AND ELIMINATE TAX FOR SENIORS.
OBAMA = INCREASE TAXES ON CITIZENS MAKING OVER $250 A YEAR. THEY CAN AFFORD IT!
OBAMA = REINSTATE SOCIAL SECURITY SO OUR CHILDREN WILL BE ABLE TO RETIRE WITH SOME DIGNITY (ALTHOUGH GOD KNOWS MY SOCIAL SECURITY CHECK DOESN'T EVEN COVER MY MONTHLY MORTGAGE, AND I DON'T HAVE 9 HOMES, JUST ONE!)
OBAMA = MAKE HEALTH CARE AFFORDABLE TO ALL THOSE WHO WANT IT SO THAT YOU DON'T GET KICKED OUT OF THE HOSPITAL THE DAY AFTER YOU HAD OPEN-HEART SURGERY!
OBABA = STOP A STUPID AND BLOODY WAR, BRING OUR BOYS AND GIRLS HOME, AND KEEP THE EYE ON THE BALL, THAT IS AL QUAEDA AND BIN LADEN.

thanx for finally making it possible to access my older tweets. ...but what if I reach 3200 tweets? will my older updates be deleted or become inaccessible? and if so, how can I save my tweets to my own computer before that happens?
Call Fox what it is...Faux and don't put "news" on the end of it because it's not news. It's propaganda for their Republican party and what a party it is...$200,000 for balloons only! Wow! I wonder how many people that could have helped.
Faux is opinions, nothing more nothing less.
Since all the major news channels are far far left... Fox News would look far right... only because of the liberal bias networks being so far left! Thank God for Fox!
What bugs me is that women are for another women the liberal bias news media label them feminists...
but when the news media and male celebrities put a women down (like women are too stupid to even think about politics let alone run for VP) why aren't they labels sexist mocho jerks!
Obama's remarks about lipstick on a pig were an intended referrence about Palin or their was no reason for such a remark in the first place.. going to lose him votes!
Obama's remarks about McCain being too old and iliterate to run a computer, so he shouldn't run a country just showed Obama's ignorance and bias against the senior citizens of this country... going to lose him votes!
Every time Obama opens his mouth to attack his opponents he sticks his foot in it... Oh, and another thing he should try not to make fun of people in other parts of the country when he is talking to his "by invitation only" crowds... is he afraid to talk to ordinary citizens of the United States... he must feel uncomfortable talking to crowds of ordinary people, so he will continue to talk to his hand picked small elite groups?
Has anyone ever given any though to the fact that Sara Palin is governor of the only state that has been invaded by a foreign power in this or the last century? (Japanese and the Aleutians in WW2).
But, more timely, her state sits 50 miles from the border of Russia, and the much sought after Arctic Circle oil reserves. I think she probably has had more foreign policy experience than Barack Obama.
