Introducing Twitter Flight, our first mobile developer conference

Wednesday, 10 September 2014

Today we’re kicking off a new era for developers on the Twitter platform with Twitter Flight, our mobile developer conference. Flight will take place on October 22 at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. At Flight, you’ll hear the latest on how Twitter can help you build the best mobile apps.

Flight is a gathering built by developers, for developers. You’ll be right at home if you live, breathe and occasionally dream in Java, Objective-C or Swift. Following the morning keynote by our CEO Dick Costolo, we’ll dive into a series of technical sessions and cap off the day with a great happy hour where you can meet and mingle with some of our engineers.

Join us on Oct. 22 in SF for @Flight and learn how to build the best mobile apps.

Today we’re also rolling out our newly-revamped developer site, dev.twitter.com. We’ve reorganized all of the content so that it’s easier for you to navigate and get your questions answered. All of the old discussions have been migrated to our new discussion forum; you can reclaim your old posts by logging in with your Twitter account. We’ll be adding a lot more features to the site over the coming weeks.

This is an extraordinary time to be an app developer. Our mission is to provide you with the tools you need to build great apps — and great businesses. We hope to see you soon at Flight!
