Profile headers and link summaries

Today we have added some improvements to profiles and Tweet details in the TweetDeck Web and Chrome apps.

We added support for the exciting new profile header images that launched last week. These images now appear on profiles in TweetDeck, where a user has chosen to upload one via twitter.com or Twitter for iPhone, iPad and Android.

We have also improved the detail view of a Tweet to now include the same article summary that can be seen on twitter.com and mobile apps where the Tweet contains a link from major websites. This card shows an image preview from the sites, a short description of the page and often a link to the author, giving you a handy summary of the link to help you decide whether to view the web page.

Both these new features are live now on web.tweetdeck.com and the updated Chrome app.
