Though the show officially starts at 8 p.m. ET, there has been no shortage of pre-VMA buzz on Twitter, as users tweet their vote for the night’s live-social voting category: “Most Sharable Video”. Using the hashtags #votebieber, #voteonedirection, #votegotye, #votebeyonce and #votecarlyrae, tweeters can cast their vote, and then experience the results, which will be announced live during the show. Until then, people can see over 52 million votes that show which artist is winning in real time.
Tick tock, you guys. #VoteBieber, #VoteOneDirection, #VoteCarlyRae, #VoteBeyonce, #VoteGotye! Results at bing.mtv.com.
