Today we are launching the Twitter Certified Products Program to bring some of the most innovative products and services from Twitter developers to businesses and organizations that need them most. Thanks to the Twitter ecosystem, brands, publishers, nonprofits, governments and others have products that help them engage with and understand their audience so they can flourish on Twitter. With this program, we’ve identified areas where we see huge demand for innovation on Twitter’s platform.
The program is launching with three verticals based on needs we see from partners every day:
- Engagement Products, which help brands keep in touch with their customers
- Analytics Products, which help businesses learn from their customers on Twitter
- Data Reseller Products, which serve as platforms for innovation on top of large numbers of Tweets
We’ve summarized the program’s verticals along with example functionality to indicate features that businesses and Twitter find interesting. As new opportunities surface, we’ll continue to add new areas to these definitions.
We’re launching today with 12 partners, and this is just the start. If you have a unique product that fits in at least one of the product verticals, solves a market need and has the potential for a large impact, please get in touch. To apply, you should verify that your product meets all of the Program Requirements, and then head to the Program Application to let us know of your interest. While not every applicant may be a fit, we are very interested to learn more about your products and will get back to each application as soon as we can.
