Expanding the Twitter Certified Products Program

Thursday, 17 January 2013

Last summer we launched the Twitter Certified Products Program (TCPP) to help businesses find the tools they need to use Twitter more effectively, and to guide developers toward valuable opportunities.

Today, we’re expanding the program by adding nine members that address challenges we continue to hear often from publishers and brands, particularly around engagement and analytics. The primary reasons we’re working with these partners are:

  • Shoutlet, Spredfast and Sprout Social make it easier for large and small businesses to manage their Twitter presence — for example, by allowing multiple team members to respond to customer’s Tweets from one Twitter account.
  • Adobe Social, with its deep integration in the Adobe Marketing Cloud, allows marketers to understand how their Tweets drive value.
  • Percolate and Rallyverse help brands create meaningful and engaging Tweets.
  • Sysomos, Simply Measured and Visible Technologies build analytics products that help companies better understand what people are saying on Twitter.

In addition to bringing new members into the program, we’ve also hired Zach Hofer-Shall (@znh) to manage it full-time. Zach will be identifying products that qualify for certification and building out new verticals to accompany the current categories: engagement, analytics and data resellers. If you’re interested in being part of the program, you can apply here. We continue to review every application we receive, but are only able to respond as quickly as we can to those who seem to be a good fit.
