Celebrating this year’s #CannesLions Aussie winners

Cannes Lions 2015 may have been a blur for those who attended, but we didn’t want to let this year’s gathering pass without huge congratulations to all the Australian winners and participants.

We continued to see amazing examples of the creativity Aussie advertisers are known for globally, bringing home 56 awards, the most of any country in the Asia-Pacific region. It was also great to see that Twitter featured in 73% of all Grand Prix winners and in 70% of winners overall.

Here’s how the awards played out on Twitter, and here’s a summary of all the Grand Prix winners, from @BandT, with a shout-out to a few of the innovative winners:

  • Optus – Clever Buoy: winner of multiple Lions including Titanium for ‘game changing’ creative for its shark-detecting, socially integrated smart buoy.

Great work again by the Australian jurors, who always have the difficult task of helping to choose the best of the best.
