This commercial featuring Mister Twitter showcases the simplicity of the service and how you can use it anywhere, anytime for practically anything.

@KotakBankLtd launched the very innovative @KotakJiFi platform last year and is clearly the trend-setter in this space, highlighting to its users the power and flexibility of Twitter.

So, if you’re a @KotakbankLtd customer, you can create an exclusive banking account that comes with a range of services that can be availed through Twitter. Users can check account balance, recharge mobile and direct-to-home services, check transaction history, request cheque book request and much more with just a Tweet.

The response to the super idea and to the campaign itself has been quite phenomenal.

Earlier this year, ICICI, India’s largest private bank launched banking services utilising Twitter called #ICICIBankpay which gives @ICICIBank customers more facilities right at their fingertips. You can use the service, to transfer money, for checking your balance and recent transactions as well as recharge that all important mobile prepaid plan.

ICICI and Kotak Mahindra used Twitter’s publicly available APIs to build much of their service.
