Radio personalities @RoveandSam today kicked off an online anti-bullying campaign encouraging their listeners to Tweet something that makes them happy using #ShareAGoodThing, and to pay the positivity forward to others.

The #ShareAGoodThing initiative follows radio host @Sam_Frost sharing with listeners live on air this morning her personal story about online bullying.

Sam’s @2DayFM co-host @Rove was one of the first to get behind the #ShareAGoodThing campaign and was soon joined by fellow media personalities.

Fans and listeners from across Australia also took to Twitter to show their support.

At Twitter, the safety of our users is extremely important to us and it’s something we continue to work hard to improve. We’ve created the Safety Centre as a resource for anyone seeking to learn more about our tools and policies on safety, with sections created especially for teens, parents and educators.

The Safety Centre helps you quickly understand how to manage your experience on Twitter and how the community and Twitter take action together when our policies are violated.

Through ongoing global initiatives like #PositionOfStrength, Twitter continues to work with Australian organisations to empower women to project and protect their voices online.

Earlier this year we partnered with @projectrockit, Australia’s youth driven movement against bullying to run an interactive workshop with students on how to use Twitter safely and express their voices online.

For more information on Twitter’s rules and policies visit the Safety Centre or follow @safety.
