Celebrating Aussie #Dads on Twitter this Father’s Day

I’m one of the #TwitterParents at Twitter in Australia and proud dad to a three year old girl and one year old boy. Each day, millions of dads, just like me, share the life-changing experiences of fatherhood, large and small, on Twitter.

To celebrate the dads who Tweet, we took a deeper look inside the Australian community, and we found they are as diverse on Twitter as they are in real life. There have been 2.5 million Tweets about dads and fathers in Australia in the past year, and the most Tweeted words to accompany the phrase “fatherhood is…” on Twitter is “the greatest.”

It’s not just Aussie dads who love Tweeting, we love Tweeting about them too! In the past year, the most-Tweeted terms to accompany the phrase “my dad is…” on Twitter include: great, the best, trying to, helping and proud.
