Having rounded off the first half of our #HelloWorld tour in the US in March, our team is now busy preparing for our international tour! We’re also delighted to be in Kenya for the first time supporting Nairobi Tech Week. We’re proud to offer an awesome set of tools for native mobile developers to use every day in Fabric. But sometimes, the engineers writing these apps can be hard to find. Fabric developer advocate Bear Douglas will talk about what’s different doing DevRel for native mobile platforms, and what we’ve learned in the past few years building out our tool and our community.
We’re excited to participate in the tvOS Hackathon, part of the Apple TV App Challenge, where Bear Douglas will join as a judge to select the best tvOS app. The tvOS Hackathon is the place for you to show off your development chops, all while building the future of TV. The tvOS Hackathon is a 24-hour event, where hackathon finalists will be rewarded with $5,000 each, and all entries are eligible for several additional sponsorship prizes.

Brett Baker and Fiona Pigott are slotted for the Twitter for Academics Day on April 20. Researchers from all over the world will share best practices; Fiona will discuss how Twitter Data can be used, inform the crowd about how Gnip works and highlight some works that have made an impact on the globe.
