Having rounded off the first half of our #HelloWorld tour in the US in March, our team is now busy preparing for our international tour! We’re also delighted to be in Kenya for the first time supporting Nairobi Tech Week. #HelloWorld 2016 tour

Join us on our #HelloWorld tour to learn what’s new and how to make your apps come alive. We’ll be joined by local industry leaders who’ll share more details about the technologies they’re using to build the best apps and businesses.

Philly ETE (Philadelphia, PA) April 4

Partner engineer Andrea Falcone will be at Philly ETE to talk about fastlane, developer tools, and developer efficiency. Learn how you can automate the tedious tasks to generate release notes, screenshots, and push your final submission straight to the iTunes Connect or Google Play portal effortlessly from your command line with a powerful open source tool.

DevRelCon (San Francisco, CA) April 16

We’re proud to offer an awesome set of tools for native mobile developers to use every day in Fabric. But sometimes, the engineers writing these apps can be hard to find. Fabric developer advocate Bear Douglas will talk about what’s different doing DevRel for native mobile platforms, and what we’ve learned in the past few years building out our tool and our community.

AppLovin tvOS Hackathon (San Francisco, CA) April 16-17

We’re excited to participate in the tvOS Hackathon, part of the Apple TV App Challenge, where Bear Douglas will join as a judge to select the best tvOS app. The tvOS Hackathon is the place for you to show off your development chops, all while building the future of TV. The tvOS Hackathon is a 24-hour event, where hackathon finalists will be rewarded with $5,000 each, and all entries are eligible for several additional sponsorship prizes.

CocoaConf (Austin, TX) April 15-16

Along with our sponsorship of CocoaConf, Hemal Shah, the product manager for Fabric’s mobile developer tools, will talk about how all mobile development teams can save over two hours every week through automation. Please stick around and feel free to ask Hemal questions after the talk.

Twitter Mixed Days (Galway, Ireland) April 18-20

Joe Rice is excited to speak during the Twitter for Business Day on April 19, focusing on the power of social data to inform strategic decisions across an organization. Brett Baker and Fiona Pigott are slotted for the Twitter for Academics Day on April 20. Researchers from all over the world will share best practices; Fiona will discuss how Twitter Data can be used, inform the crowd about how Gnip works and highlight some works that have made an impact on the globe.

Nairobi Tech Week (Nairobi, Kenya) April 27-30

We’re excited to be a partner of Moringa School and AngelHack this year to host Nairobi Tech Week — Sub Saharan Africa’s largest tech event! Alongside local sponsors and partners, we aim to bolster the growing tech sector in Nairobi and share the Twitter platform and look forward to connecting with various actors and influencers in the East African tech ecosystem. Various members of our team will be in attendance, including Bear Douglas, Ali Parr, Emily Sheehan, and Kelly Shalk.
