Twitter is where people connect with their passions, share their opinions, and discover what’s going on in the world as it’s happening. Because people are often in a discovery mindset when
they’re on Twitter, they’re open to new businesses that they can follow and interact with.
To help us better understand how people are discovering and engaging with businesses on Twitter, we partnered with the research firm Research Now (@ResearchNowUS) to survey over 5,450 people from around the world that follow a small or medium-sized business (SMB) on Twitter. One major theme that emerged from our research was that respondents developed meaningful relationships with the businesses that they follow, often resulting in tangible value for the business. In our new whitepaper, we explore the valuable relationships between businesses and their Twitter followers.
