Launching Frequently Asked Questions

Thursday, 12 April 2012

Discussions on dev.twitter.com are a key place for our developer community to work together and chat about the Twitter Platform and products. Today, we’re introducing new features to surface the most Frequently Asked Questions, providing instant and easy access to the information that matters most to you.

For starters, we curated and organized Frequently Asked Questions by category, answering all of them on one canonical page: https://dev.twitter.com/docs/faq

In addition, we’re also highlighting the most relevant questions & answers where you’ll benefit most:

  • When you start typing a question in the “Ask” box of the discussion boards, we’ll suggest pertinent FAQ items inline.
  • On documentation pages, you can now see the common questions related to that doc. For example, GET statuses/user_timeline.

We will continue to update these questions based on your feedback and the developer support trends we see in Discussions, as the platform continues to evolve. If there’s a question you’d like to see answered in the FAQ, please let us know on this discussion thread. Of course, any feedback is always welcome.
