How Uplike uses Fabric

Wednesday, 9 September 2015

Paris-based Uplike is an online photo-sharing and social networking service that enables people to share photos, videos, websites, gifs, and music. With more than 2.5 million monthly active users, Uplike is a lifestyle app in the iOS and Android app stores.

With a team of nine, Uplike faced the challenges of many startups in focusing their time and resources where it counts most. Very quickly, the team saw three pain points in particular: crash reporting, sign-in flow, and integrating native advertising.

Uplike chose Fabric’s suite of tools, which helped them to reduce support costs and improve user experience. By using MoPub to monetize, Digits to improve the sign-up process and Crashlytics for visibility into app performance, Fabric’s tools gave Uplike back its most valuable resource: time.

“Fabric allows us to save time. When you’re a small team, that’s something you need. Saving time means saving money.”
