Summer is heating up and this month is filled with events. Check out where our team will be in July, and come join us.

Our advocates Chris Aniszczyk, Gareth Paul Jones and Val Polouchkine will talk about building better apps with the Twitter platform. Sign up today! We will be at the Capital Factory all day before the event. If you are interested in one on one time with the team, email lschutte@twitter.com.

CHIMEHACK 2 (San Francisco, California): July 9-12
CHIMEHACK 2 is a three day hackathon supporting Chime for Change at Twitter HQ. The hackathon will convene technology leaders with issue experts and non-profit leaders, to create tech-driven solutions focused on promoting safety for girls and women. All details can be found here, including agenda and hack challenges. Request a ticket today.

Angelhack Manhattan (NYC, New York): July 11 - 12
Our New York City based developer advocate Jon Bulava will be on hand to answer your API and Fabric questions. Be sure your team builds with one, or both, for the chance to win awesome Twitter swag.

OSCON (Portland, Oregon): July 20-24
We are back in action in Portland this month for one of our favorite events, OSCON.

On July 22,Twitter’s head of open source, Chris Aniszczyk will sit on a panel among companies like Google, Facebook and Github to answer the tough question of how to build and run an open source office. In the afternoon, open source advocate Travis Brown will discuss Scala at Scale here at Twitter.

Additionally we’re hosting our annual party, this year at Pips and Bounce - Portland’s ping pong place. There may or may not be famous ping pong champs there to share some tips, along with food, drinks, and tournaments. Register here.

On July 23, Chris will present on why we started an open source office and how we established our open source culture. We are also hosting office hours open to anyone at Cup and Bar coffee shop. Stop by from 4 - 6pm to grab a coffee and talk open source with the team.

SF Fabric Developers Group (San Francisco, California): July 21
@TwitterDev launched this routine developers meetup to take place on the second to last Tuesday of every month. Join the meetup group, to get all the details of this event and more events to come.
