Our Developer and Platform Relations (DPR) team had a busy Q2, and we’re now preparing for a busy and exciting Q3. Track our September travels here and by following @TwitterDev. Here’s what’s coming up:

Droidcon (Stockholm, Sweden): Sept. 3
Developer Advocate Andy Piper will speak about Open Sourcing Android components, focusing on Fabric and more. Fabric engineer Ty Smith will do a deep dive into our technical decisions around how we developed an SDK for stability, testability, performance, overall footprint size and, most importantly, ease of implementation. We are excited to be in Sweden and meet the Dev community there!

DLD Innovation Festival (Tel Aviv, Israel): Sept. 6-12
We’re excited to be a sponsor of this DLD gathering for the first time this year in Tel Aviv. On Sept. 9, Ali Parr will take to the main stage to introduce Fabric. Also on Sept. 9, Romain Huet will then offer his expertise and guidance as a mentor on the startup panel. Luis Cipriani will be speaking about how Fabric can help apps to become more stable with Crashlytics and Beta at the DevOps Israel meetup on Sept. 8.

In addition to DLD, we’re co-hosting a happy hour with Elevator Fund on the evening of Sept. 9. RSVP here to join us for the evening in Tel Aviv and meet the team.

IBC Hackfest (Amsterdam, Netherlands): Sept. 11-13
Join advocates Romain Huet, Ryohei Miyota, Luis Cipriani, and Alex Singer for the IBC Hackathon in Amsterdam. As sponsors, our team will be there to set a challenge, answer your questions and award prizes for the best integration of Twitter API and/or Fabric during the event. We will also be doing some mini hack challenges and spot prizes, so look out for those.

The Poynter Institute Mobile News Summit at the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism (New York City, NY): Sept. 14
Join our Media, Product Management, and Partner Engineering teams at Poynter’s Mobile News Summit. Learn about Twitter’s latest products for finding, curating, and embedding Tweets during our afternoon session at Columbia Graduate School of Journalism on Sept. 14.

Dreamforce (San Francisco, CA): Sept. 15
Bear Douglas will speak at in the Developer Zone about using Fabric’s crash reporting, analytics, and social data from Twitter to create more robust enterprise applications. She’ll walk through integrating each API into an existing app with Salesforce’s APIs to make the most useful apps possible.

HackPR (Mayagüez, Puerto Rico): Sept. 19-20
Advocate Jon Bulava and others from our team will be visiting the University of Puerto Rico for this event. Following the hackathon, there will be an interview workshop and tech talk at the University’s Río Piedras campus.

App a Month meetup (San Francisco, CA): Sept. 22
We’ll host the App-A-Month meetup group at Twitter HQ. Advocate Erin Schumacher will show you how to add Answers Events to your app- and we’ll invite someone from the audience up to create analytics streams with us live. See the meetup group for registration details.

The Science Behind Influence (Washington, D.C.): Sept. 22
As we head into an active election season, this Twitter-sponsored meetup will focus on how social data can be leveraged to understand conversations and identify the key voices leading them. Interested in understanding one of the most important uses of social data: detecting the influencers?

#MeetTwitterDev Boston (Boston, MA): Sept. 23
We can’t wait to return to Boston to host this meetup with the developer community. Check back for registration details later this month.

Online News Association Conference (Los Angeles, CA): Sept. 24-26
Partner engineer Niall Kennedy and product manager Mollie Vandor will attend this year’s big ONA gathering in LA.

Over the Air (London, England): Sept. 25-26
Andy Piper and Ali Parr will be at OTA, with @TwitterDev sponsoring. Andy will talk about developing mobile apps with Fabric on Android and Twitter widgets and Digits on mobile web, and the team will be on hand to answer questions across the weekend.

Mobile Summit (Porto Alegre, Brazil): Sept. 26
Developer Advocate Luis Cipriani will speak about how to add phone number sign up in your mobile apps with Digits to developers and product managers. The talk will cover Android, iOS and web integrations and how Digits can improve how users get identified in mobile apps.

Measuring the Global Pulse (London, England): Sept. 29
Hundreds of data thinkers from all industries will gather at our UK office to discuss how to leverage social data to measure the world’s pulse. Anchored by forward thinker Azeem Azhar, the group will review where we are in terms of understanding what’s important to the world at any given moment.

#MeetTwitterDev Tokyo (Tokyo, Japan): Sept. 29
We’re excited to invite the Japanese dev community to our new office in Tokyo! Ali Parr will be on hand to talk about Fabric, and there will be a live Fabric demo by Ryohei Miyota. We’ll invite some Japanese partners to speak about their insights, and host three lightning talks. More information is coming soon on our events page — watch this space!
