Twitter developer events: January 2016

We’re kicking off the year at some great events in Canada, India, and the US — and we’d love to see you there. We’re looking forward to an exciting 2016 and have lots of plans to share with you soon.

BlrDroid (Bangalore, India) Jan. 9
Our developer advocate in India, Aman Alam, will talk about how we addressed challenges while scaling our Android app. Aman will be around all day for questions, and during happy hour, so join and be sure to say hello.

NSMeetup (San Francisco, CA) Jan. 13
fastlane developer, Felix Krause, will join the NSMeetup to discuss how to use fastlane to automate developer tasks like provisioning, localization, screenshots, building, and submission. Felix will give a live demo on using the tool, and stick around for happy hour and questions afterwards.

Boulder Data Science Meetup: Part One (Boulder, Colorado) Jan. 18
Our data team in Boulder is excited to host the Boulder Data Science Meetup, focusing on part one of Python Essentials (data structures, functions, classes). The Twitter team won’t be presenting, but will be around to answers questions about Twitter data.

Boulder Data Science Meetup: Part Two (Boulder, Colorado) Jan. 25
Part two of Python for Data Science will focus on Numpy, Pandas, and Scikit-Learn. Similar to the prior one, the Twitter team will be around to answers questions about Twitter data.

UOFHACKS III (Toronto, Canada) Jan. 22-24
Developer advocate Alex Singer will be attending UOFTHACKS III, part of Major League Hacking’s (@MLHacks) spring 2016 series. The event will include 500 developers, designers, and creators for 36 hours of hacking. Alex will run a 30-minute workshop showcasing Twitter’s developer tools, including Fabric and the Twitter public APIs. He’ll be on-hand all three days of the event and can answer any questions about Fabric or the Twitter API.

Hoya Hacks (Georgetown, Washington, D.C.) Jan. 29-31
Developer Advocates Jon Bulava and Todd Burner will attend Hoya Hacks — Georgetown’s annual hackathon — which is part of a larger university technological revolution that seeks to infuse innovation into its core culture. 300 talented students are eager to showcase their skills and change the world. Jon and Todd will be available throughout the event to offer assistance with the Twitter platform and chat.
