Announcing the 2017 #Promote Innovation Challenge

The 2017 #Promote Innovation Challenge is officially underway.

Twitter collaborates with a diverse ecosystem of businesses to serve our global marketers. #Promote is our way of recognizing some of the most exciting technology and service solutions in the industry.

This year, we’re expanding the challenge to recognize even more of the solutions moving marketing forward on Twitter. We’ve divided the challenge into three categories and will be awarding three top prize winners with $100,000 cash.

#Promote hit the ground running last year with a launch that surpassed all expectations. We received entries from all over the globe demonstrating creative, results-driven solutions to a diverse array of marketing challenges. Our grand prize winner, Comprendi, developed technology to help advertisers increase the relevancy of their ads by delivering real time, dynamic ads triggered by the moments that matter to people on Twitter.

We’re going even bigger in 2017. We’ve divided the challenge into three categories reflecting areas of critical importance to marketers.

Entries can be submitted for consideration under one or multiple categories until the challenge deadline, September 6, 2017.

Three finalists will be selected from each category to present their innovation before a judging panel of Twitter executives. The judges will score each finalist and decide the winner of each category’s $100,000 top prize.

We’ll also be dedicating resources to promote each of the nine finalists via Twitter ads (a total value of $50,000 per finalist).
