Businesses across Europe are being invited to sign up for the 2016 virtual #JobFair, which will take place on Thursday 19 May. The online fair brings together employers and job hunters across Europe in a one-of-a-kind networking event.

Whatever you do for a living — or whatever you’d like to do — you can utilize Twitter to build your professional profile and network, hunt for jobs, or simply tune in to the latest news and conversations about your industry.

And if you’re a business that’s hiring, then Twitter is essential to having an online presence and promoting your job openings to the top

Businesses are invited to join the Twitter #JobFair, taking place across Europe on 19 May.

Throughout the day, businesses across Europe will Tweet their job openings in an attempt to find the very best people to fill their open roles.

Job hunters are also being invited to Tweet their CV in 140 characters or fewer to showcase themselves to potential employers. Experts in the field of employment and training will also be Tweeting top tips and hints about online networking and how to score your dream job.

How it works:

In the UK, the hashtag for the day will be #JobFair. Job hunters and industry experts can simply join the conversation by adding the hashtag to their Tweets.

If you’re a business or recruiter promoting a specific role, you can also add the industry (e.g., #Marketing, #Manufacturing, or #Finance) and/or location (e.g., #Manchester, #Edinburgh, or #EastAnglia) to your Tweet to make it even easier for job hunters to find.

For more information, businesses are invited to sign up now. Once registered, you’ll be able to access an exclusive information pack and attend a training sessions on how to get the most out of Twitter as a recruitment tool.

We’re excited to bring employees, job hunters, and industry experts together on Twitter on for the #JobFair, and we’re looking forward to seeing the connections that people make on the day. Good luck to all the jobseekers and employers out there!
