The highs and lows, the wows and LOLs - Twitter came alive on Saturday night for the final of the #Eurovision Song Contest, generating around 8 million Tweets over the course of the evening.

The evening’s conversation peaked at the very moment that Portugal were confirmed as winners, with a huge spike of 58K Tweets per minute (TPM).

Not far behind though was that moment when an excitable fan crashed the stage during one of the interval performances, triggering 52K TPM.
