For the next ten days, Sydney will be home to the world’s best netballers who are set to light up the court and Twitter for the 2015 Netball World Cup (#NWC2015).

Here’s how to make the most of your home ground advantage as the Aussies attempt to win their 11th title on home soil.

Your first stop is to follow the official @NetballWorldCup account as the ideal one-stop, all-round guide throughout the tournament.

If you aren’t lucky enough to make it to @allphonesarena in person, the @NetballWorldCup team will be Tweeting instant replay videos on Twitter during every match so you don’t miss any of the big moments.

They also have some Twitter Mirrors on hand to capture all of the behind-the-scenes fun, so you’ll be covered for all the action!

Given we’re the host nation and reigning champions, you should of course be following the @AussieDiamonds. If the last few days is any guide, they’re going to take you into the inner sanctum of one of the most successful sporting teams this country has seen.

They’ll even show you what it takes to become a world class athlete, or at least the diet. Gluten free raspberry muffins for all!

Not to be outdone, the Aussie coach is on Twitter as well and is a must follow for #NWC2015. Lisa Alexander (@CoachLisaA) loves sharing her experiences with followers from around the globe, Retweeting her favourite accounts, while always happy to chat with fans.

She also doesn’t mind a bit of karaoke!

While the home fans are all hoping for an Aussie victory, there are of course 15 other teams hoping to spoil the party, and it’s impossible not to mention New Zealand (@SilverFernsNZ) who are the other half of what is surely one of the greatest rivalries in world sport.

The pundits might be tipping is an Australia v New Zealand Final, but with England (@England_Netball) and Jamaica (@NetballJamaica) waiting in the wings to take the next step, it’s going to be ON!

You can welcome all of the teams to Australia by giving them a follow and Tweeting them a message of good luck. Take a look at all of their Twitter accounts here.

While the teams will have all the official photos, videos and behind the scenes insights, there is no doubt that the participating players will be a must follow on Twitter. They will take you inside the life of an elite netballer and share the special experience of playing in a World Cup.

You can find the players on Twitter from each team here or follow all of them at once by subscribing to this team list.

To get you in the mood, here’s some more great Tweets from a selection of the players in the build up to the start of the #NWC2015.
