Australia’s newest true crime drama, #DeepWater premiered on SBS Australia (@SBS) last night, the first episode in a four-part fictional crime drama inspired by the unexplained deaths of homosexual men in Sydney’s eastern suburbs in the 1980s and 1990s.


Produced by Blackfella Films (@blackfellafilms), fans of Deep Water (@DeepWaterSBS) will be able to get exclusive Twitter previews and a behind-the-scenes look at the #DeepWater investigation as it happens - from both @DeepWaterSBS and the perspective of one of characters Detective @ToriLustigman.

The exclusive Twitter content being produced and unlocked for fans is part of our ongoing partnership with @ScreenAustralia to help Australian TV dramas drive and develop deeper engagement with their audience.

@DeepWaterSBS and @ToriLustigman will be Tweeting out real-time evidence as the series unfolds. Fans will have access to additional clues and exclusive information from the investigation available only on Twitter.


#DeepWater will also host live Q&As with the cast, ask the audience for their opinion on the investigation through polls and release an exclusive video preview on Twitter for the following episode, designed to intrigue, tease, and build anticipation around the mystery.
