Follow @IndigenousX during #NAIDOC2016 week

Monday, 4 July 2016

Every year NAIDOC week celebrates Indigenous Australian culture and heritage with the rest of the nation. One Twitter account that does that every week of the year is @indigenousX, a rotating account which since 2012 has hosted a different Indigenous Australian influencer to share their perspective with the world.

To celebrate #NAIDOC2016, @indigenousX is taking it to another level by having a different Indigenous host every day of #NAIDOC2016 to share stories, events, and talk about issues that are important to them as Indigenous people.

NAIDOC Week is one of the biggest weeks in national Indigenous calendar, and the myriad of events across the country provide a great opportunity to learn more, connect with friends, and to support Indigenous artists, organisations and communities. Twitter is also a great place to keep up to date on all the important conversations that will take place this week, and @IndigenousX is proud to play our part in that by giving an opportunity for a different Indigenous host every day to take control of the account and share their views for #NAIDOC2016.
