CBC/Radio-Canada extends reach of #PyeongChang2018 coverage on Twitter

In the coming weeks, Canadians will get to experience live action and top highlights from #PyeongChang2018 on Twitter.

A partnership announced today between CBC/Radio-Canada and Twitter Canada will see the first-ever live stream of select Olympic Games events on Twitter in Canada.

Canadians on Twitter can watch live coverage of the Opening Ceremony, Closing Ceremony and five additional events to be announced. The events are available via official handles @CBCOlympics in English and @RC_Sports in French.

Canadians will also be able to watch near-live video clips through the partnership.

Look for top Canadian brands to join the live #PyeongChang2018 experience on Twitter with original campaigns and unique integrations into live and near-live video content.

The #PyeongChang2018 Twitter conversation is heating up across Canada as sports fans and supporters cheer on their favourite winter athletes. These are the 10 most-mentioned accounts in 2018, amongst Canadian athletes competing during #PyeongChang2018:
