A calendar cornerstone for film fans worldwide, the 2018 edition of the Toronto International Film Festival (@TIFF_net) kicks off this Thursday with a bevy of top talent and Twitter A-listers making the trek north of the border.

The Twitter conversation around #TIFF18 has been heating up in recent weeks, with a focus on films that will be debuting during the festival plus the screen stars that we’ll be seeing on the red carpet.

The official @TIFF_net Twitter account will be a must-follow during the festival. Beginning opening night and for the next 10 days, @TIFF_net will feature a wide range of original live-streaming video content, including:

Film fans can also add colour to their Tweets with the first-ever festival emoji. Starting September 6th, Tweeting #TIFF18 will unlock a custom Twitter emoji that fans can use throughout the festival.
