Everyday Twitter users share with the world, text, photos, videos and more. Today we’re introducing a new way for you to experience audio directly on Twitter, with some exciting launch partners from the UK and beyond.
With a single tap, the Twitter Audio Card lets you listen to audio directly in your timeline on both iOS and Android devices. For the first time ever, you can now dock the Audio Card and keep listening as you continue to browse inside the Twitter app. We’re launching this new audio card in partnership with third-party streaming services. The first partner for streaming on Twitter is SoundCloud.
Today you can listen to podcasts, music and other types of audio content via this new experience through @SoundCloud partners, over the next few weeks you’ll hear music and audio from all over the world but here are some of the confirmed launch partners from closer to home:

We’re just beginning to test the Audio Card and plan to make it available to more partners and creators in the future so that many more musical artists and creators will be able to share exclusive, in-the-moment audio to millions of listeners on Twitter.
You can follow @TwitterMusicUK for real-time updates about accounts using our new Audio Card.
