F1 2015 season: the big reveal

Build up to the 2015 @F1 season cranked up on Thursday when a number of the leading teams showed off their brand new cars, exclusively first on Twitter.

World champions Merecedes (@MercedesAMGF1) launched a series of “spy” footage videos of their new W06 vehicle via #W06Spy. They started with a precious delivery:

Then a sighting of world champion driver @LewisHamilton:

And finally a glimpse of the new car at full throttle:


Meanwhile, McLaren (@McLarenF1) exclusively unveiled a renewed partnership with Honda for their 2015 car:


Ferrari (@ScuderiaFerrari) built up suspense on Twitter ahead of their own launch:


And Lotus (@Lotus_F1Team) picked up on last year’s long-running Twitter debate about their car’s nose:
