Part of London Design Festival, the exhibition at Somerset House (@SomersetHouse) showcases the six winning ideas from our #PoweredByTweets competition earlier in the year.
Each featured idea showcases Twitter in a completely new and unexpected way. There are pollution monitoring pigeons, magic typewriters (as you can see above), a state of the art hospital ward concept, and even a Tweeting water pump for WaterAid.
Twitter is an incredible platform for sharing powerful and meaningful stories around the globe every day. But you can also use Tweets and hashtags as a remote control to make something move, light up or even make pigeons fly. This shows that it’s also a platform for ideas and invention.
The exhibition is open at Somerset House London from Monday 21st September until Sunday 27th September; Monday to Wednesday and Sunday, 10am-6pm; Thursday to Saturday, 10am-9pm.
