Are you on that festival vibe? Do you love creating amazing videos online? If so, now is your chance to get noticed with Twitter’s summer creative challenge!
Here’s the deets: from the 15th July - 26th August, you’re invited to join our super exciting new competition to find some of Europe’s finest creative social video talents.
We’ve launched a contest to find the very best creative social talent from seven countries across Europe. With our summer creative challenge, we’ll be giving two talented European video creators the chance to win their very own exclusive personalised Twitter emoji. Yes. YOU WILL BE AN EMOJI.
How it works
If you think you’re the next top emoji, then it’s time to get creative. To get involved, we want you to make a rad video around the theme of summer music festivals.
Need some inspiration? You could… interview your fave band, challenge a friend to a dance off, share your festival fashion tips, post exclusive behind-the-scenes content - or something completely different. Anything that brings summer music festivals to life. This is your time to shine.
Now for the important stuff
Your video can be up to up to 140 seconds long. You need to upload your video to Twitter (links to other sites don’t count) and Tweet it with the hashtag #FestivalChallengeUK. You must also mention the Twitter handle @videoEU in your Tweet too.
And if our Twitter account @videoEU ‘likes’ your Tweet, you’re part of the contest, and it’s time for voting to begin.
There are two ways to vote - fans can either Retweet the Tweet that contains your video, or post a new Tweet mentioning your account @handle and using the hashtag #FestivalChallengeUK. We will only count one vote per Twitter user per day.
The candidate with the most votes from all of Europe across the period, will win their own emoji. There will be a second winner chosen by a jury made up of top peeps from Twitter.

“If you’ve got video great skills and love music this is your chance to shine. Get creative and Tweet your entry, and be in with a chance to win one of two amazing emoji prizes.”
The challenge and competition is part of #TwitterSparkle, a brand new programme run by Twitter in Europe, dedicated to helping social talent thrive on Twitter. #TwitterSparkle gives creators new opportunities to connect, express themselves and share content on Twitter.
