Twitter UK is proud to support and endorse the IAB Gold Standard - an important industry initiative that helps ensure our customers have the best online experience possible.

The Gold Standard provides an important framework that underpins how Twitter UK conducts its business. The aims of the IAB Gold Standard to reduce ad fraud, improve the digital advertising experience, and increase brand safety, sit at the very heart of our ethos.

Twitter UK, an IAB (@IABUK) board member, is committed to delivering these goals. It was also a signatory of the IAB’s letter of intent along with other board members.

As part of Twitter UK’s commitment to an industry that has trust and transparency at its core, we also support the Coalition for Better Ads as it strives to improve the online advertising experience for consumers and advances the adoption of the Better Ads Standards.

Through its work, the Coalition has used consumer insights and cross-industry expertise to develop and implement new global standards for online advertising that address consumer expectations.

Twitter UK is also certified by JICWEBS, which oversees the independent development of Good Practice and Standards for digital ad trading. We’re fully committed to and support its aims of improving how digital advertising is bought and sold.

Dara Nasr (@DaraNasr), managing director of Twitter UK, said: "At Twitter, we understand our customers' need for reassurance around brand safety and quality ad placements and we wish to abide by global standards.

“Therefore we support the Coalition for Better Ads in its mission to improve the online advertising experience for consumers and promote adoption of the Better Ads Standards.

“We are proud to be certified as compliant with both the JICWEBs Online Anti Fraud and DTSG Good Practice Principles so that our customers can trade with us in confidence.”
