India’s oldest and most popular singing reality show #SaReGaMaPa has come back on television after four years - with a brand new digital avatar. The show that has been giving a platform to new singing talent in the country for the past 21 years has now integrated with Twitter to reach out to a younger, wider audience. Zee TV channel’s (@ZeeTV) debut partnership with Twitter is bringing the best of Indian musical talent to the millennials by driving innovative and fun engagement through Tweets, Vines, and Periscope.
In its first month itself, the show has gained over 11.6 million impressions, establishing itself as the biggest singing reality TV show on Twitter in India.
#SaReGaMaPa’s first-of-its-kind social TV experience is reaching out to its global fan base, who will get exclusive and direct access to the talent and the show’s content through fun Twitter activations. Real-time video content from judges and mentors, behind-the-scenes sneak peeks into the contestants’ journeys, live Twitter chats, and Periscope broadcasts with the #SaReGaMaPa team, will keep fans around the world hooked to the reality show.
The top 12 contestants also made their debut on Twitter this month, enabling fans from their hometowns and across the world to stay connected with them through live chats and real-time updates via Tweets.
