Pro Kabaddi season three starts with a dash on Twitter

Pro Kabaddi began a third season of fun and the opening weekend saw thrilling action involving all eight teams as defending champions U Mumba (@U_Mumba) staved off hosts Telugu Titans (@Telugu_Titans) by two points in a close first match!

In response, Telugu Titans bounced back with two wins on the trot against Puneri Paltan (@PuneriPaltan) and Dabang Delhi (@DabangDelhi) to go atop the leaderboard.

Twitter was the social soundtrack for all the excitement as franchise owners, players, and fans took to the platform to cheer their teams on for every raid and save.

Opening day team Twitter battle (#LePanga)

On the opening Saturday, @ProKabaddi invited fans to face off in a Twitter battle whose results were displayed real time in malls in the eight franchise cities. Fans could Tweet with #LePanga and the hashtag of their favourite team to help them on their way to the top.

Even the team owners added to the conversation, goading fans to get involved.

In the end, the Patna Pirates (@PatnaPirates) emerged victorious.
