The biggest democratic exercise in the world is all set to unfold, with 900 million Indians eligible to vote. India is going to the polls between Thursday, April 11 and May 19 across seven phases, and all eyes will be on Counting Day, May 23, 2019.

Thanks to news partners across the spectrum, and highly engaged and interactive audiences, Twitter will be the best place to see what’s happening and follow the elections in real-time. For the first time, we are excited to showcase livestreams and special series in multiple languages: Hindi, Tamil, Marathi, Kannada and English. Here’s how you can #SeeEverySide of the election on Twitter:

Leading Hindi news channel @ABPNewsTV kicked off the election season with an exclusive interview with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which streamed on Twitter and was shared by the Prime Minister on his account @narendramodi.

TABPNews will also share election specials, debate shows and more, using #ShikharSammelan2019 and shares live programming in Hindi, English, and Marathi via @ABPMajhaTV.

Network18 will be bringing audiences programming in English, Hindi and several regional languages right through this election season.

Special programming from partner @AsiavilleNews kicked off with innovative programming looking at the youth this election tying in with Twitter’s own #PowerOf18 campaign. Weekly episodes featured of this live-streamed content will be available in Hindi, English, and Tamil.
