Fans on Twitter who were not able to make it to the red carpet event in person were treated to the live stream of the experience on the platform grossing over 316,000 video views.

What’s Next

Ramadhan on Twitter

Ramadhan on Twitter is amazing! For example, last year we saw Indonesian users from all over the nation come together on Twitter, from sharing encouragement messages or tips, reconnecting with families and friends, to doing live Periscope broadcasts during the homecoming season. We also launched special Twitter emojis to help Indonesian users celebrated the Holy Month in festivity. And it’s thrilling to know that of the 118 million of Ramadan-related Tweets in 2017, 20% came from Indonesia.
