Twitter partners with CJ ENM to bring the latest Kpop news to Thai fans

In a Thailand-first, Twitter partners with CJ ENM, organisers of KCON (@KCON_Global) - the largest K-Culture convention in the world - to showcase KCON THAILAND (@KCONThailand) in #TwitterBlueroom. Hosting Q&A sessions with the hottest Kpop artists and sharing the latest event news and happenings with Twitter fans first, the weekly #TwitterBlueroom LIVE sessions will air on @KCONThailand Twitter account every Thursday at 18:00 Thai time, from 18th July to 19th September (except on 12th September).

Kpop fans around the world have always turned to Twitter to see what’s happening with their favourite idols and to talk about #KpopTwitter. In the lively and engaging #TwitterBlueroom LIVE sessions, #HiPrae updates Tweeps on #KCON2019THAILAND and hosts live Q&A with leading Kpop artists. Hosted in Thai language with Korean-to-Thai translations where needed, Thai Kpop fans can connect with their favourite artists like never before, and Tweet questions in real time. Each session remains on @KCONThailand so fans can watch, replay and Retweet anytime.

Kpop fans connect with each other and their idols on Twitter. The Kpop conversation is taking place on Twitter daily and in many languages, it crosses boundaries and cultures and brings people together from all over the world unified in their interest of everything Kpop. #TwitterBlueroom has been a huge success globally and we’re excited to bring this only on Twitter activation to our Thai fans and support KCON THAILAND. The event is Thailand’s largest annual gathering of the Korean wave and will see many leading Kpop artists performing and we’ll be sharing all of this on the weekly sessions in the run up to KCON THAILAND.

The first artist announcements were shared exclusively with Twitter users in the latest #TwitterBlueroom LIVE where #HiPrae confirmed #EVERGLOW (@EVERGLOW_twt), #IZONE (@official_izone), #KIMJAEHWAN (@KJH_officialtwt), #ONEUS (@official_ONEUS), #StrayKids (@Stray_Kids) and #THEBOYZ (@Creker_THEBOYZ), will be joining the #KCON2019THAILAND line-up.

Other Kpop artists who have appeared in the #TwitterBlueroom LIVE sessions include girl group (G)_I_DLE (@G_I_DLE) who shared some exclusive signed giveaways and insights about their latest album, and ATEEZ (@ATEEZofficial), who discussed their recently concluded World Tour which saw them perform in the USA and Europe.

#TwitterBlueroom has become a huge hit with Kpop fans. Artists such as EXO (@weareoneEXO), GOT7 (@GOT7official), Stray Kids (@Stray_Kids), Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon (@Hyoyeon_djhyo), IZONE (@official_izone) and many more have visited #TwitterBlueroom to connect with their global fan base and share the latest music news and gossip.
