WELP Tonight’s “WELP WKND” Season 1 Finale: LIVE exclusively on Twitter

Whether it’s gaming or entertainment, fans around the world and in Singapore have been turning to Twitter to join in the latest conversations and discuss what’s happening in their pop culture community.

WELP (Welcome Everybody, Let’s Play) Tonight (@welptonight) is a prime-time gaming talk show with a twist, where co-creators and hosts Singapore Idol Sezairi (@sezairi) and his wife Syaza Qistina Tan (@syazaq) are joined by media and music personalities from different walks of life for a fun night of great food conversations and games.

The show was hosted in the #BlueRoom of Twitter Singapore and livestreamed on the @welptonight handle. This programme aims to celebrate gaming as an essential and positive part of our social lives, as well as to provide an inclusive platform for popular celebrities to enjoy authentic conversations and stories with the global online community.

The 10 #BlueRoom episodes of WELP Tonight Season 1 have recently concluded and it is time to level up with the WELP WKND Season 1 Finale! WELP WKND will be held on 3 and 4 August 2019, at the Campus Game Fest (CGF) in the Singapore Indoor Stadium (as part of the Singapore National Youth Council’s YouthX Festival). 

As with our #BlueRoom episodes, some of Singapore’s favourite celebrities (more on them below) will be dropping by the WELP WKND booth throughout both days of CGF to hang out and play games such as Jackbox Party Pack and Scribblenauts.

As hardcore DOTA 2 fans heading to Shanghai soon for this year’s The International, Sezairi and Syaza will also be taking the opportunity during WELP WKND to vie for domestic DOTA 2 bragging rights. Their specially assembled teams, made up of professional DOTA 2 players, WELP viewers and other talented friends, will battle it out at the Team Syaza vs Team Sezairi DOTA 2 Showdown from 4pm to 6pm on Sunday 4 August.

WELP WKND promises to be a fun-filled weekend of video games, entertaining conversations, thrilling esports action, and even some surprises along the way! 

Even if you cannot be with the WELP WKND gang at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, there is absolutely no need to be left out of the excitement and the conversation, as all WELP WKND activities will be livestreamed on Twitter. Join in the conversation and tune in at @welptonight!
