The one-hour #TwitterBlueroom live streaming with the drama #KAIROS  team was held on MBC Drama’s official Twitter account (@mbcdrama_pre) and Twitter Korea's official account (@TwitterKorea). The cohesive teamwork of the #KAIROS team shined during the live streaming as the actors showed off their wit and humor, sharingVarious stories related to the drama.

Seung-yoon Kang, the special MC for the live streaming, greeted global fans with his fluent English skills. The humorous eldest actor Sung-rok Shin said, “Wow, you speak English well!!” Sung-rok Shin became talkative in the #TwitterBlueroom LIVE session and made the atmosphere even better.

Actor Sung-rok Shin excited fans by showing pride in the drama when asked to introduce #KAIROS. “Our drama is a ‘Time Crossing Thriller’ where the future Seo-jin Kim, whose child has been kidnapped, and Ae-ri, a woman from the past caring for her sick mother, work together with a one minute call at 10:33 PM to protect their loved ones.”

#KAIROS amassed attention thanks to multiple pre-release teaser videos on Twitter. During the #TwitterBlueroom Live, they had time to watch the hottest teaser video together and release some behind the scenes details about the episode. After watching the teaser video, Seung-yoon Kang asked, “What was the most difficult scene to film?” Each actor responded differently, confessing the grievances they faced when playing their respective roles. Se-young said, “Running during the chase scene was difficult.” Gyu-ri Nam said, “There was a scene where I had to play the violin. I practiced for four or five months, and I filmed that scene for five hours and had to go to the emergency room the next day.” On the other hand, actor Sung-rok Shin said, “Drama teasers are usually made by assistant directors. I saw the assistant directors staying up all night for several nights while editing the teaser video. I would like to applaud those who suffered to make this.” He added warmth by mentioning the hard work of the staff.

The live streaming continued with the all-important introduction of the characters. Seung-yoon Kang explained that the title of the drama Kairos refers to the God of Opportunity* in Greek mythology (*different name in Roman mythology). Like the title of the drama, he asked the actors to describe their characters by comparing them to a ‘God’. Seung-yoon Kang introduced his own character as the ‘God of the Wind’. Se-young Lee said the ‘God of Chasing’, Sung-rok Shin said the ‘God of Top Work Skills (because of his character, the youngest executive of the company in the drama)’, and Bo-hyun Ahn said the ‘God of Sociability’. The moment Gyu-ri Nam called her character the ‘God of Smile’. But soon after, the #KAIROS team all said, “No, that’s a spoiler! Spoiler! Don’t say anything else!” This outburst drew hot reactions from fans trying to infer the content of the drama.

There was also an interesting question about the synchronization rate between the actors and their characters. Seung-yoon Kang replied, “I think it’s less than 50% for me.” However, his fellow actors replied by saying, “Hey, what are you talking about?” and “I think your synchronization rate is almost 100%!” The conversations made the live streaming fun and humorous.

There was also a question that asked, “What song would be your character’s theme song?” Seung-yoon Kang responded, “It seems like Gun-wook would like ballads.” Actress Se-young Lee suddenly asked him to sing a song, saying, “Please sing!” Without any hesitation, Seung-yoon Kang sang a line from Chang-jung Lim’s “A Shot of Soju” and the live chatting room became filled with colorful cheers.

A unique question was asked for the time-crossing drama: “If you could talk on the phone with someone in the past, who would you call and what would you say?” Actor Se-young Lee said, “Hey! I’m Se-young from one month in the future. I’m calling you with the lottery numbers. Write them down now!” Their conversation made the #TwitterBlueroom live-stream fun and humorous.

During the ‘TMI Quiz’ game, there were many secret questions, such as “Who is an actor that looks like you?” and “Are there any advertisements you’d like to do that you haven’t done yet?” that could not be answered without the knowledge and affection that the actors all have for their work and fellow actors. Cute MBC goods were given to the actors that had the most correct answers. However, an ‘aegyo’ (acting extremely cute) penalty was given to those who did not give the correct answer. All of the actors desperately attempted to answer the quiz properly to avoid the ‘aegyo’ penalty.

The TMI Quiz game was done in the following order: Sung-rok Shin, Se-young Lee, Gyu-ri Nam, Bo-hyun Ahn, and MC Seung-yoon Kang. Bo-hyun Ahn was the one to finalize the results with one question. For the last six points, Seung-yoon Kang's question was “What is the nickname people called me in one of my previous dramas?” Bo-hyun Ahn shouted, “Jang Bal-jang (Jean Valjen, who is the protagonist of Les Miserables)!” which led to a dramatic turnaround victory.

During the Fans’ Q&A session, various questions arose from fans around the world who were looking forward to the drama #KAIROS. Fans also asked the actors about their favorite thing from the time-related genre. All of the actors recommended their favorite time-based movies or dramas, except for Sung-rok Shin. He said that his favorite was ‘KAIROS’. Everyone admired him for the love he showed for his work. There was also a question that asked the actors if they wanted to switch roles with any other actor. Seung-yoon Kang replied, “I want to take on the same roles as Sung-rok Shin and Bo-hyun Ahn. I've never played a smart role in a suit before.” He expressed his thoughts on the roles he would like to try. Sung-rok Shin, Se-young Lee, Gyu-ri Nam, and Bo-hyun Ahn responded kindly to the never-ending questions and received positive responses from fans.

This #TwitterBlueroom Live was the first for a Kdrama, so the actors delivered their farewells through a specially conducted ASMR and encouraged viewers to watch the drama. The actors said things like, “If you don't watch Kairos, I'll catch you!” and “Let’s all meet at MBC at 9:20.” Sung-rok Shin also left a humorous ASMR saying, “Everyone... ASMR… now... Kairos time!” After the #TwitterBlueroom live ended, the #KAIROS team released a #TwitterBlueroom 360’ video on MBC Drama's official Twitter account (@mbcdrama_pre) for fans.
