World Music Day Celebration #KpopTwitter Campaign

Twitter is where K-pop fans gather to get the quickest updates on recent K-pop news, and to share their passion with their community. K-pop fans shared many moments together on Twitter during the month of June. Two of the biggest were #KpopTwitter celebrations for ‘World Music Day’, and Twitter’s report, ‘K-pop Generations Analysis by Twitter Usage’.

#KpopTwitter’s ‘World Music Day’ campaign helped K-pop fans from around the world to celebrate their favorites on Twitter. Starting on 14th June and continuing the week leading up to World Music Day (21st June), the campaign included many different ways for fans to celebrate their favorites, including:

Twitter’s report, ‘K-pop Generations Analysis by Twitter Usage’, also drove many fan conversations. In partnership with ‘Kpop Radar’ (@kpopradar_blip) by Space Oddity, Twitter shared data analyzing how top artists from different K-pop generations use Twitter. In addition to showing how top artists use Twitter to connect with their fans even before they debut, the data also showed how Twitter helps to fuel K-pop’s growth by helping artists communicate with fans globally.
