Being a force for good is at the heart of Twitter’s mission as a company. Since we launched our advertising platform in 2010, we’ve offered nonprofits a way to amplify their efforts through an ongoing pro-bono program called Twiter Ads for Good. This year, we’ve given away almost a million dollars in grants - including Promoted Crisis Tweets during Hurricane Sandy to help relief organizations like the @RedCross and @NYCMayorsOffice reach those affected with critical, real-time updates.
This holiday season, we plan to continue our support and donate $20,000 in Twitter Ads for Good to the @RedCross. For every Tweet containing the hashtag #Tweet4Good, Twitter will donate $1 in Twitter Ads for Good to promote the @RedCross and their crisis relief efforts, up to a grand total of $20,000.
We invite our advertisers to help us reach our $20,000 goal by December 31. Simply RT the Tweet below to show your support. You can also track our progress on this page where we’ll be counting each #Tweet4Good that comes in.
Twitter will donate $1 in Twitter Ads for Good to @redcross with each #Tweet4Good before 12/31, up to $20K. Please RT: tweet.twitter.com/Tweet4Good
