Hunger Action Month

With over 7,000 people living on the streets of San Francisco, hunger is a chronic problem for many. We teamed up with TwoDegrees to offer a little extra support to the SF Food Bank (@SFFoodBank) in recognition of Hunger Action Month.

Typically, when someone buys a snack bar from TwoDegrees (@2DegreesFood), a donation of one meal pack is made to a hungry child overseas. This September, TwoDegrees made its donations to San Franciscans in need, drawing from Twitter’s gifts to the SF Food Bank.

The @SFFoodBank works with 450 partners to distribute enough food for 100,000 meals around the city each day.

The need is clear. We hope this small gesture was useful to the SF Food Bank’s incredible operation.
