Summer is fast approaching, and that means the year’s biggest blockbuster flicks are nearly upon us. One of the most anticipated summer releases, “X-Men: Days of Future Past,” used Twitter to bring fans closer to the stars.
While fans usually get an inside perspective from actors during press tours, the #XMenLive Twitter junket gave them a chance to interact directly with the cast. Each of the films’ stars — including @RealHughJackman, @SirPatStew, @EllenPage and others — took over the @XMenMovies handle, answering fan questions in 140 characters or less.
Whether it was about their favorite scene or the amount of time it took to get their costume settled, the stars shared what it was like to be a part of one of this year’s most buzzed-about movies. @20thCenturyFox’s creative use of Twitter took the traditional press junket to the next level.
