Overall, there have been 21 million Tweets about fall TV premieres, up 34 percent from 2014.

Returning shows, which enjoy established fan bases (and in some cases, syndicated airings), have taken the lion’s share of the fall premiere conversation, with 90 percent of conversation dedicated to audience favorites. The following programs have sustained the most chatter:

  2. Supernatural (@cw_spn): 2.0M Tweets
  3. The Walking Dead (@WalkingDead_AMC): 1.9M Tweets
  4. The Vampire Diaries (@cwtvd): 1.6M Tweets
  5. Once Upon a Time (@OnceABC): 1.1M Tweets

As they return for their second season, these sophomore shows are seeing the highest year over year growth in conversation:

  1. The Flash (CW_TheFlash): 1637% increase
  2. Jane the Virgin (@CWJaneTheVirgin): 748% increase
  3. How to Get Away with Murder (@HowToGetAwayABC): 377% increase
