#NBAAllStar on Twitter: Emojis, MVP fan vote, and more

Friday, 17 February 2017

Twitter and the NBA have unveiled unique hashtag-triggered Twitter emojis for all 24 NBA All-Stars. The emojis, revealed on Twitter by Tweeting #firstnamelastname (e.g., #StephenCurry, #LebronJames; Note: Giannis Antetokounmpo only requires his first name #Giannis), are now live through Monday, Feb. 20.

The new player-specific emojis capture the fun and personality of NBA All-Star Weekend, replacing the All-Star jersey number Twitter emojis that appeared next to a player’s name when NBA All-Star rosters were announced last month.
